"Rap Star"

Journal drawing from 2006. This is a portrait of an insufferable co-worker.  So glad I found this drawing. It reminds me that all things change, many in unexpected ways.

Fluxus Piece for Yoko Ono 2003-2012

This piece started as a sculpture. The soap dish with a used piece of soap were found in an apartment that I lived in during the year 2003 in Union City, CA. I saw it in the bathroom, and admired its beauty. It has traveled with me since that time. On 3/24/12 I assembled it with Scotch Tape to spell out "YOKO" on the floor of the Swarm Gallery in Oakland, CA.

As it was placed on the floor of the gallery, it was inevitably stepped upon. I am not sure if I will fix it.
